Early Life — Mrs. Peggy was a feisty person that enjoyed life to the fullest. She always held her head up high. She will be remembered as a very proud woman of valor. She loved to smile. She was outspoken. She loved music by Al Green, Lionel Ritchie and the Temptations. After the first beat played, she would throw her arms up in the air, start swaying and singing. Her love for music was intoxicating.
Career & Passions — Mrs. Peggy Graham, 75, accepted her wings in glory on Friday, September 1, 2017 peacefully at her home. She was the life partner of the late Nelson Everette (Dollar Bill). They shared over 25 years together.
Born April 19, 1942 in Greenville, NC, she was born to the late Viola P. Moye and the late Frank Moye, Sr. and raised by the late Flossie Moye Johnson. Mrs. Peggy attended Epps High School. She was a faithful employee of the Dietary Department at Pitt Memorial Hospital (Vidant Medical Center) for over 33 years at which she retired.
Family — She is survived by her only brother, Frank Moye, Jr. of Greenville, NC. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Esther Mae Alston and Rosetta Patrick.
She loved her children the best way she knew how and hard. She was blessed with four (4) children: Willie Moye (Felicia) of Greenville, NC; Leslie Graham in Ft Worth, TX; Elijah Roach (Judi) in Clarksville, TN; and Felicia G. Brockington (Jimmy) in Windsor, CT. Also, she leaves to cherish her memory and “Peggy Ways” to 12 Grandchildren, a host of Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grands, Nieces and Nephews.
Service Details — Private viewing will be held on Friday, September 8 at 5:00 pm at Flanagan Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 10:00 am at Flanagan Funeral Home

To celebrate her life, the family will host a Celebration with light refreshments at her house with a Memorial Balloon Release from 12-4 pm EST, Friday September 8, 2017.
